Discover how to make Acadian fricot and try your hand at harvesting sum- mer savory in the museum's heritage garden. Follow this with a delicious lunch and a lively discussion about the roots of fricot and the role of summer savory in Acadian culture.

The Cocagneries week-end will be taking place from August 4th to 6th. We have a variety of activities for you to choose from, such as: camp fire, boat parade, fair, numerous kiosks, inflated games, music, dance and BBQ. Something to please everyone. See below detailed list of activities.

August 13: “Acadie”, we sing you!”

August 13 – 9:00 am to 10:00 am
St-Pierre de Cocagne Church

In conjunction with National Acadian Day and the 250th anniversary celebrations, the musical group “Éveil” (Cocagne choir), dressed in traditional costumes, will be offering a concert of Acadian music one hour prior to Sunday mass. Acadian songs will continue throughout the service.
